ASPIRE- Fine Arts
Fall 2023 Session! Starting October 16th, from 4 PM to 7 PM, Acts of Kindness presents ASPIRE, an initiative that will provide affordable fine arts training and life coaching to children from single-parent families in our community. Our first program will be an 8-week Fall 2023 session that includes fitness and painting classes every Monday in the Acts of Kindness Centre @ Church in the Valley. Enrollment is open to children aged 8 to 13 from single-parent households. We offer complimentary supper and necessary materials, along with an opportunity for the kids to showcase their artwork at the program's conclusion. Secure your spot

Single Mom's Free Oil Change
Acts of Kindness will be offering a free oil change for single mom's (with children living at home) on Oct 29, 2023 at Church in the Valley. There is a $5 refundable DEPOSIT that will be refunded for everyone who shows up at the event. All cars must be pre-registered. Registration DEADLINE is Sun, Oct 15. The oil change EVENT will be Sun, Oct 29, 2023 at 2:30 - 5:30 pm.

Boundaries- Single Mom's Workshop
Fall 2023 Session! This will be an 11-week series with meetings taking place every Monday at Church in the Valley in the Acts of Kindness Centre. Moms will enter on a journey of personal growth and gain tools for better decision-making within relationships. Free childcare and food will be provided, as well as the book "Boundaries" by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. Starting September 18th.

Depression Recovery Program
Upcoming Winter 2024 Session. Beginning Monday, January 13 at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm for eight consecutive weeks, Acts of Kindness is hosting the Nedley Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program by Dr. Neil Nedley, MD. Join us and invite your friends and family to learn the practical steps to prevent, manage, and mitigate the effects of depression and anxiety. Recovery is for you.
