Free Clothing Swap

February 28 from 12 to 2pm

Visit the Acts of Kindness Centre at 23589 Old Yale Road in Langley on Wednesday, February 28 for an event in partnership with Free Clothing BC featuring free clothing, shoes and household items.

AOK NightShift Ministries

The AOK NightShift team serves a hot meal each Thursday night to the homeless community here in Langley and they could use your support!

 

NightShift is looking for the following donations:


1. Blankets (gently used or new)
2. Emergency Blankets
3. New Socks

Depression Recovery Program

Acts of Kindness is hosting the Nedley Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program by Dr. Neil Nedley, MD. Join us and invite your friends and family to learn the practical steps to prevent, manage, and mitigate the effects of depression and anxiety. Freedom is possible!

The Winter 2024 session is every Monday starting January 22 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for eight consecutive weeks.

January 22 to March 11 | 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

ASPIRE - Fine Arts 

Acts of Kindness presents ASPIRE, an initiative that will provide affordable fine arts training and life coaching to children from single-parent families in our community. This is an 8-week session that includes fitness and painting classes every Monday in the Acts of Kindness Centre @ Church in the Valley. Enrollment is open to children aged 8 to 13 from single-parent households. We offer complimentary supper and necessary materials, along with an opportunity for the kids to showcase their artwork at the program's conclusion.

The Fall 2023 session was on Mondays in October and November from 4 to 7 p.m.

Boundaries- Single Mom's Workshop

This is an 11-week series with meetings taking place every Monday at Church in the Valley in the Acts of Kindness Centre. Moms will enter on a journey of personal growth and gain tools for better decision-making within relationships. Free childcare and food will be provided, as well as the book "Boundaries" by Henry Cloud and John Townsend.

The Fall 2023 session was held Mondays  |  5:00pm - 6:45 pm starting September 16.
