THIS YEAR’S RECIPIENTS

Chris and Charlene Adam have been long-time
residents in the town of Aldergrove. Chris has
endured Multiple Sclerosis for many years and had
to finally go on long-term disability about a year
ago. Charlene experienced a stroke a year and a
half ago. She took off five months to recover and is
now working part-time, which is all she can
manage. As a result of the stroke, Charlene had
lost all feeling on the right side of her body and
has still not recovered completely.

Over the years their home has fallen into disrepair
and Chris and Charlene have not been able to
repair or work on the home themselves.

Being responsible homeowners, before these
illnesses hit, they replaced the roof to keep the
home dry and upgraded the windows to help with
the unmanageable electric heat bills.

They also installed some energy efficient gas
fireplaces securing grants wherever they could.
They have done their part, but now need our help
to finish it up.

LET’S MAKE A DIFFERENCE
TOGETHER!
